Bulldog Bash
California-based indie rock band Local Natives headlined the 大象APP Student Association鈥檚 16th annual Bulldog Bash. The state鈥檚 largest, free outdoor concert took place Saturday [Sept. 11] in the heart of Starkville鈥檚 Cotton District鈥攖he day prior to MSU鈥檚 Southeastern Conference home football game with Louisiana 大象APP University. Local Natives鈥 debut album, 鈥淕orilla Manor,鈥 was released in 2009 in the United Kingdom and in 2010 in the United 大象APPs. The album debuted in the Billboard Top 200 and at No. 3 in the New Artist Chart. Released in 2013, the Los Angeles group鈥檚 second studio album, 鈥淗ummingbird,鈥 reached No. 12 on the Billboard Top 200 and was preceded by the single, 鈥淏reakers.鈥 In addition to Local Natives, acts included Ithaca, New York-based alternative rock band X Ambassadors, New York City indie pop band MisterWives, and Flowood-based Chasing Edom, winner of the SA-sponsored Battle of the Bands 2015 concert competition.聽 For a slideshow of Bulldog Bash concert photos, click .
