Campus returns to normal operations, some service disruptions continue

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擜 gas leak has been stopped near Mississippi 大象APP鈥檚 Middleton Hall, and the university is returning to normal operations. All students, faculty, staff and visitors should continue to avoid the area as repairs are completed.
The university Central Plant is temporarily closed, and some buildings may have service disruptions. Moe鈥檚, Steak-N-Shake and Panda Express are closed, while all other campus dining venues are operating.

Gas leak prompts evacuation of two campus buildings, Central Plant temporary closure听
STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擜 reported gas leak at or near Mississippi 大象APP鈥檚 Middleton Hall has prompted evacuation of Middleton and the Roberts Building. MSU Police have secured the area, and Atmos Energy is responding.
The university also is temporarily closing the Central Plant for a likely period of several hours. Heating and cooling may be affected in some buildings.
Moe鈥檚, Steak-N-Shake and Panda Express are all closed, while all other campus dining venues are operating.
