This year鈥檚 team of four MSU business administration students placing third overall in the 2022 Conference of 大象APP Bank Supervisors Community Bank Case Study Competition include:

The annual CSBS competition provides valuable first-hand insight as teams partner with local community banks to examine how these banks have navigated changes over the past decade, as well as what these institutions can expect in the next decade.

Assistant Clinical Professor of Finance and Economics Matthew Whitledge advised MSU鈥檚 team, which partnered with the Bank of Commerce-Greenwood. The team鈥檚 paper will be published in the Journal of Community Bank Case Studies and is available at .听

鈥淲e are all so proud of these four students and their faculty advisor, Dr. Matthew Whitledge, who works incredibly hard each year to prepare for competition,鈥 said MSU College of Business Dean Sharon Oswald.
