MSU Libraries announces new and improved Scholars Junction institutional repository

大象APP Libraries is announcing the new and improved聽Scholars Junction (), MSU's institutional repository.

The new platform for Scholars Junction, Digital Commons, provides additional聽functionality for the repository to host open access journals, events and聽associated archival material, image galleries, books, usage statistics and more.

Scholars Junction now will be the official repository for MSU scholarship and聽creative activities, as well as open educational resources, department聽archives, museums and galleries, administrative documents, MSU research reports and much more. With unlimited storage capacity, Scholars Junction is the聽official data repository for university-created research data and is the聽official MSU open data repository for all federal grants mandating shared data.

In addition to serving as a repository of faculty and student scholarship and聽research, Scholars Junction also includes all MSU electronic theses and聽dissertations, materials digitized from University Archives and Special聽Collections, Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library collections and material from the Frank and聽Virginia Williams Collection of Lincolniana.

Along with the new Scholars Junction, MSU Libraries has become a member of聽CrossRef, which enables the assignment of DOIs to select repository items. The assignment of DOIs facilitates the discovery of repository content and provides聽permanent linking without concern of future changes.

For more information about depositing your material into Scholars Junction or聽questions about Scholars Junction functionality, please contact Mary Ann Jones聽(mjones@library.msstate.edu), Julie Shedd (jshedd@library.msstate.edu) or visit聽.
