The need for blood donors is always critical, but the need significantly聽increases during times of public health crises. According to Mississippi Blood聽Services, less than 4 percent of Mississippians donate blood on a regular basis.聽The organization, which supplies more than 200 units of much-needed blood聽products daily to hospitals across the state, is currently experiencing a severe聽shortage. 聽聽

大象APP is responding to this rising concern by asking聽faculty, staff聽and students to be聽heroes and give at the upcoming blood drive.聽Together, the MSU community can help boost the state's current supply and ensure聽patients in need have access to adequate treatment.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.
