Old Main Music Festival lineup announced by MSU鈥檚 Music Maker Productions

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬usic Maker Productions is presenting the Old Main Music Festival April 5 at the Mississippi 大象APP Amphitheater on the university鈥檚 Starkville campus.

Old Main Music Festival begins at 3 p.m. and includes a full day of both local and national musicians, outdoor games and activities, an art market, and food vendors. Local music acts, the Art Market and food trucks open at 3 p.m., and the Main Stage kicks off at 7 p.m. with Dirty Streets and Duncan Fellows. Headliner Lewis Del Mar concludes the festival, which is free and open to the public.

Lewis Del Mar is a New York-based indie pop duo made up of Washington D.C.鈥檚 Danny Miller and Max Harwood. Named after the two musician鈥檚 fathers鈥 shared name 鈥淟ewis,鈥 the band combines acoustic guitars, percussions and mixed media samples to create an experimental sound. The duo鈥檚 2015 debut single 鈥淟oud(y)鈥 caught the attention of many with its electrifying jolts of melodies. Lewis Del Mar鈥檚 2016 debut self-titled album paved the way for a large-scale world tour.

Duncan Fellows is an indie rock quintet from Austin, Texas. After the release of two independent EPs, Duncan Fellows set off on tour with Houndmouth, giving the band immense notoriety across the U.S. The group鈥檚 2017 debut LP titled 鈥淏oth Sides of the Ceiling鈥 made way for a new musical impression of the band with a fresh sound, including Spotify鈥檚 鈥淔eel Good Indie Rock鈥 playlist with more than 1 million followers.

Dirty Streets, a Memphis, Tennessee-based three-member rock ensemble, draws influence for its sound from the 鈥淗ome of the Blues and Birthplace of Rock 鈥榥鈥 Roll.鈥 Dirty Streets鈥 latest LP titled 鈥淒istractions鈥 features psychedelic rock music with a heavy, soulful sound.
