STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi ´ķĪķAPP continues to spotlight its talented faculty through a new exhibition opening Tuesday [Sept. 4] at the university’s Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery.

Showcasing the artistic contributions of 21 educators in the Department of Art, “Searching for Truth” is available for viewing through Oct. 26 in the MSU Welcome Center’s second-floor gallery. The exhibition features recent works representing a range of styles, subject matter and artistic media, including painting, sculpture, photography, graphic design, drawing and printmaking. A public reception takes place from 5-6 p.m. Sept. 6 at the gallery. Refreshments will be available.

“The diverse faculty members in our Department of Art actively exhibit their work nationally and internationally, but they are especially excited for the opportunity to share work with the MSU and Starkville communities in this bi-annual faculty exhibition,” said Lori Neuenfeldt, MSU art instructor and gallery director.

Home to the Magnolia ´ķĪķAPP’s largest undergraduate studio art program, the Department of Art prepares students for advanced study and careers as professional artists by providing opportunities to exhibit their work in an active art gallery that serves the university, local community and region.
