STARKVILLE, Miss.— Theatre MSU’S 53rd season continues Thursday-Saturday [Feb. 16-18] with 7:30 p.m. performances of “Boeing, Boeing” on the university’s McComas Hall main stage.

General admission tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door prior to each performance or in advance at . Group rates are available upon request.

A Tony Award-winning 1960’s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage, “Boeing, Boeing” features smooth-talking Parisian bachelor Bernard, who has Italian, German and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.”

Bernard keeps “one up, one down and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris—and his apartment—at the same time.

“Once this play takes off, it doesn’t stop. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a rehearsal,” said director Cody Stockstill. “Bernard really does think he has control over the situation, and that’s when everything goes wrong—to the hilarious delight of the audience.”

Stockstill is an MSU assistant professor in the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Communication, where he also serves as coordinator of the theatre concentration.

The communication department will present one more production this season. Also open to all, Theatre MSU’s three-night performance of Arthur Miller’s American classic, “The Crucible,” takes place April 20-22 at 7:30 p.m. on the McComas Hall main stage.
